Smt. Rekha Dixit is a former judge of Allahabad High Court, in Uttar Pradesh. She has been the trial judge in several notable cases, including the case of Mohd. Ahmed Khan v. Shah Bano Begum, a controversial case concerning the payment of maintenance to Muslim women, in India, as well as the Taj Corridor case and the Uttar Pradesh NHRM Scam. She recently retired from the post of chairperson of the State Public Service Tribunal. She is the first woman judge to head this tribunal. With her vast experience, strong sense of responsibility, and serious work style, she is a very important professional, and we are honoured to have her as a chairperson of our foundation.
